Low-Cost Family Fun

Looking for some low-cost fun for the family to enjoy this summer?

We have lots of great facilities to enjoy for FREE as well as some low cost activities for all the family, and with our on-site car parks free to use, you can stay all day!

  • Our fantastic children’s play area is open daily 8.30am - 8.30pm and FREE to access! Inspired by our beautiful park and designed for children of all ages, there’s lots to enjoy.

  • Take on our family-friendly summer trail, collect your clue sheet from reception (£1 per child) and when you’ve completed the trail, bring your sheet back to claim your prize.

  • Explore our FREE wildlife sculpture trail - simply scan the QR code on each sculpture and Dylan the Duck will tell you all about our local wildlife.

  • Our lakeside path - perfect for a relaxing walk (or run) and provides stunning views of the lake, it’s wildlife and the surrounding park area - it’s accessible for wheelchairs, pushchairs and bicycles.

  • Enjoy the scenic views as you cycle around the lake or explore our mountain bike trails through the woodlands.

  • Sit and relax in our beautiful sensory garden, surrounded by a variety of flowers, herbs and trees.

  • Try out geocaching - it’s the world's largest FREE treasure hunt - all you need is a smartphone, visit www.geocaching.com for more information.

  • Challenge your friends and family to a game of Mini Golf - it's £4.70 per person or £15.75 for a family/group of four.

  • Cave & Climb will be available through the summer holidays from 11am-4pm (weather dependent) at a cost of £4.20 for one activity or £7.40 for two.

  • Hire a Go-Kart to explore the lake with your family or friends - prices range from £8 -£13 for single up to 4 seater options - book online here.

  • Try out our mountain bike hire or BMX bike hire to use within the park or our onsite BMX pump track.

  • Our Lake View Café offers a wide range of snacks and meals, including gluten-free and vegan/vegetarian options. We also have a range of dairy-free milk options for all our hot drinks.

  • Our Lake View Café is also dog friendly - so you can bring your four-legged friend inside and even buy them a doggy treat, like an Utterly Mutterly ice cream or Sir Woofchester snack! Please remember that dogs must be kept on a lead a all times while inside the park and café.
