February Half Term
For the February half term we have a range of activities planned, both on-site at Parc Bryn Bach and at a variety of near-by venues to keep children and families entertained!
Family Fun
A must-do activity during any visit, has to be exploring our fantastic children’s play area, which is open daily and FREE to access, it’s inspired by our beautiful park and designed for children of all ages. For families who want to explore a little further around the park, we also have a free wildlife sculpture trail. Simply scan the QR code on each sculpture that you find around the lakeside path, and Dylan the Duck will tell you all about our local wildlife!
Throughout February we also have a Family Treasure Trail to enjoy - no booking is necessary, just collect your clue sheet from reception (£1.50 per child) and then return to claim your prize when you finish.
Visitors can also hire a go kart or mountain bike to explore the park and our beautiful scenery.
Adventure Activities at the Park
Throughout the half term week we will have a variety of adventure activities available at the park:
Cave & Climb - Available daily from 16 – 20 February between 12pm - 3pm (£4.20 for 1 activity or £7.40 for 2)
Bush Craft - Wednesday, 18 February 10.30am - 11.30am (£12 per person)
Mountain Bike Taster Session - Wednesday, 18 February 1pm - 2pm (£15 per person)
On-Site Activity Day - Friday, 20 February 9.30am - 3pm (£23.30 per person)
Off-Site Activities
Our experienced Adventure Activity Team will be offering a range of activities at other venues through the half term, providing expert support and tuition on a variety of skills:
Off-Site Activity Day - Monday, 16 February 9.30am - 3pm. Join us for an exciting day of indoor climbing and other fun activities at a nearby multi activity centre (£30 per person which includes return transport from Parc Bryn Bach).
Paddlesports - Friday, 20 February 10am - 11am. Improve your paddle skills and water safety this half term in the swimming pool at Ebbw Vale Sports Centre (£12 per person). Transport is not included, all participants should report to Ebbw Vale Sports Centre for this activity.
Archery Tag - Friday, 20 February 12pm - 1pm. Enjoy an adrenaline packed game of archery tag at Ebbw Vale Sports Centre (£11 per person). Transport is not included, all participants should report to Ebbw Vale Sports Centre for this activity.
