Duke of Edinburgh's Awards at Parc Bryn Bach

Expeditions run from 1st April to 31st October and deliver the following for schools and education establishments:

Bronze award

  • Training - Three days or a two-day, one- overnight camp training programme

  • Two-day, one-night qualifying venture

  • Walking or SUP expeditions

  • All essential equipment provided

  • Group size – minimum of 6; maximum of 8 per instructor

Silver Award

  • Direct entry

  • Three-day training pre-assessment

  • Three days and two nights camping expedition

  • Walking and SUP expeditions

  • All essential equipment provided

  • Group size – minimum of 6; maximum of 8 per instructor

Gold Award

  • Qualifying ventures covering four days/three nights camping expedition

  • All essential equipment provided

  • Group size – minimum of 6; maximum of 8 per instructor
