Activity Days
We’ll Come to You!
Activities can be tailored to the curriculum to help children engage in classroom topics or just as a way of introducing them to outdoor play and most of all fun!
Activities include:
Bushcraft
Learn to survive in the great outdoors with our fun bush craft experience.
Groups of any age can experience our natural wilderness and learn new skills for survival. Children will have the opportunity to practice traditional fire lighting skills using natural and man-made materials, learn about Kelly Kettles whilst making their own hot drink and finish off with a toasted marshmallow.
Archery Tag/Archery
Archery Tag is a combination of paint ball, laser tag, dodge ball and traditional archery. The maximum number of participants (16) will comprise of two teams, each with an equal number of players, playing opposite each other and separated by a ‘safe zone’. The goal of the game is to take a hit at the players and discs from the competing team. This is a friendly game and 100% safe.
For children who may not enjoy the team game, an archery session with targets to aim for is also a fun way of introducing them to the sport.
Introduction to Orienteering
Orienteering is like a treasure hunt in nature! With a special map to find controls that are hidden around the school yard, field or even indoors, children learn map reading, decision-making, problem solving skills and build confidence all whilst having fun.
Camping Skills
Camping is a fun and educational way for children to connect with nature, build confidence, and develop independence. Our adventure team will teach basic camp skills, from tent set-up, camp organisation and fire safety, preparing the children for a life of adventure.
Team Building Games
Our adventure team can run a variety of team building games both in an indoor and outside setting.
The games are designed to help children learn to work together, communicate and solve problems as a team. The games encourage cooperation, develop social skills, and build confidence while keeping children engaged and active. Examples include Gutter Run, Land Mine, Toxic Waste and Shepherding Sheep, to name a few.
